Singapore Idol Results - That shocking?

hello all.firstly, would like to thank everyone who cared for me throughout that pretty horrifying accident. gosh. every year, must have this kind of things to end off - the finale, in fact. last year was, um, nevermind. and this year was this. i didn't realise how many people actually cared for me until this happen. it's just amazing how when you think that you have to go through this alone, there are others out there who were willing to walk alongside with you and care for you too. after all that has happened, what's important are the little lessons that i learnt. but for now, i just felt blessed. really blessed.
so, Singapore Idol results yesterday. have to admit that both were pretty good. like the Pros like that. wow. But then, at the end of the whole thing, Sezairi won it. Which is amazing. Wow. My whole family's like shocked by his win. Cos we expected Sylvia to win. I mean, if you see it from this perspective, Would Singapore be willing to crown a third Idol who is a guy - malay guy again after Taufik & Hady? So, i guess, from the results, my questions are answered then. Singapore is willing even though some questions the willingness and whether he really deserves it just like what i read in the papers today. Afterall, it's the majority of Singapore's decisions. So, why the question?
which i think isn't fair. cos both of them performed exceptionally well last night so I don't see a point that the title isn't deserving to Sezairi. like Sylvia, he too should have a chance to shine and not been outshadowed just because the first 2 idol were malay guys. I don't understand why they have to bring up the fact that they're watching 'Malay Idol' instead of Singapore Idol. So, tak baik. And sure, some malays are behind him but votes by the malays are not just everything. Him getting the title would have meant that the votes he garnered are surely alot - by everyone else and not just from the malays who went gaga over him. Can we for once just accept the results without question, please?
i've been doing alot of reading these days. alot of self-reflection. haha. re-reading Kiew's novel again. Gosh. And I think I've found this quote which I felt I've overlooked when I was reading the book earlier. This quotes actually sets me thinking... Hmm...
