hello there!my FIRST post for the year!
well, stayed up last night. didn't bother to go to the city and everything where the countdown is being held. so, we did our countdown at our humble abode. homestyle or what someone calls emo style. hehe. anyway, it was actually pretty good because even though you're far from the city, all the other blocks in my area have people screaming happy new year (which can be pretty loud). so, somehow, you get sucked in to the festive spirit as well. haha.
and this morning, daddy decide to prolong new year celebrations for us by having breakfast outside. so technically, its an off day for mummy dearest from all the morning madness of breakfast. hehe. so, went to tampines to have breakfast. yum. afterwords, grocery shopping time! (: everyone's like so high and everything, wishing happy new year to like customers. from the market, to the bakery, to supermarkets (surely, new year seems to have a positive effect on people). And that's a good thing right?
well, for this upcoming year, i've decided to make a few changes in my life. abit drastic but i am blessed to have the support from my parents. first things first, i'll be quitting my sunday classes to totally concentrate on ngaji (as in reciting the Quran properly). It's something that ive been pondering about for quite sometime and God willing, I have made the right decision for myself. I decided to pursue something that's more intensive. So, of course, i will miss my madrasah girls alot. thanks so much for the memories girls. each of you will always be remembered. If there are anymore madrasah outings, do invite me along. I will miss each and everyone of you - the hyper lot of us! Thank you for making my sundays something that i looked forward to every single week. I love you people!
