Strong ladies.

Hello world.Saw this wonderful poem by Brenda Hager while I was window shopping at Urban Write at Tampines 1. It's a nice poem - a tribute to all the strong ladies that I know who pulled through life no matter how hard the circumstances may be. (: Specially dedicated to dearest aunty though - I will always love you no matter what. Aww. <3
Strong women are those who know
the road ahead will be strewn with
obstacles, but they still choose to walk
it because it's the right one for them.
Strong women are those who make
mistakes, who admit to them, learn
from those failures, and then use
that knowledge.
Strong women are easily hurt, but
they still extend their hearts and
hands, knowing the risk and
accepting the pain when it comes.
Strong women are sometimes beat
down by life, but they still stand
back up and step forward again.
Strong women are afraid. They
face fear and move ahead to the
future as uncertain as it can be.
Strong women are not those who
succeed the first time. they're the
ones who fail time and again, but
still keep trying until they succeed.
Strong women face the daily trials
of life, sometimes with a tear, but
always with their heads held high
as the new day dawns.
PW date with Syu and Ruby today! (: Catch up session with them, especially Ruby. I love how we can just talk about anything under the weather and laugh about the silliest things imaginable. Haha. And we came in red shirts today. Sweet coincidence. Hehe. Thank God you're still helping us in this PW journey dear. It won't be possible or shall I say complete without the other. We're a team and we're cool that way. Right? Hehe.
And Syu is being nice today. (: Hehehe. He treat us pizza at Pizza Hut. Thank You Syu... <3 Hmm. I realised that he's one of the few guys that I'm close to at TPJ. And the only malay guy for that matter. Tu pun, not as if he's completely malay. Haiyaa. Who cares. Haha. Ohs, and I wonder how he tolerated with me and Ruby's nonsense just now. Haha. I guess 2 girl's isn't a crowd for him. I realised, that he's an easy person to talk to about non-school stuff. Sometimes, on guy issues as well cos he understands I guess. Like just now. (: And he just listens and listen and listen while me and Ruby take turns doing the ranting, only pausing us to give his comments which were pretty insightful.
I mean, the other 2 boys in my PW group are nice people but there's no way that I'll ever talk about non-school stuff with them. Hahaha. Like abit awkward. Anyhow, I guess my group is somewhat balanced. We had the kancheong people, the slack and take-it-easy people and the ones in the middle. So, it's just right. Hehe. I sound like Goldilocks now. Oh wells.
"I think, maybe you should just pause. See what your heart wants before making your decisions. I mean, seriously, if it doesn't make you happy, what's the point of holding on to it? You deserve better anyways."
Syu and Ruby makes things look so simple and non-complicated. Haha. I guess Libra people have their own way to untangle stuff. But really, true that. What's the point of trying to piece everything together when your heart's no longer in it anymore, or so you think? Hmm. Wise words.
Here's on my to-do lists:
1. Album scrapbook
2. Paint my room
Okay. Must do both of this!!! (:
Love always
