Alhamdullilah. Survived OP today - unscathe. Anyways, the examiner was being a total pain. Ada dier cakap, 'Strictly speaking, you guys are supposed to use the school's computer.' Merepek seyhs. I mean seriously, sedangkan Mr Paolo pun tak cakap it's compulsory. We could've used anyone's computer for this lahs. But Thank God, we tak melatah. Instead, we keep our cool and answered the examiner although it's clearly we are not in the wrong. And for god's sake, can you imagine this? All of us apologised for something that's clearly not wrong on our part lahs. Honestly, I don't understand what issues that she has with us.
So, at the end of the day, my group and I were like looking at each other with pure determination to totally make that examiner smile. Because we realise, that that's the only way to prove to her that we mean business and we do have the substance to excel. And we wanted to prove to her that we are better than the group that presented before us - who were kinda monotone. Can't be helped lah all guys. Anyways, the examiner is a her anyway. And there's the guy examiner also. He seems abit nicer and not to mention, friendlier. And guess what, she finally did smile at the end of the day. Which is pure satisfaction for each and everyone of us.
On this note, a job well done to wonderful PW mates. Clayton, Syuaib & Fergus. We did it guys! We really did it! Without relying on our scripts. I am so proud of you peeps for putting in the best effort that you could. Now, let's just pray hard that they examiners will do us justice by awarding the marks that we deserve.
And I guess, a pat on the shoulder for me as well. Imagine this, after 4 years in a girls school environment and my 1st presentation to a group of more than 10 guys with only the examiner who is a female isn't easy. Especially, when they did give you smirks wondering if you really can do it. Ingat orang tak tahu? But once you prove them wrong, that you are worthy of their attention, you'll realise that you can command their attention. It's scary at first, but I suppose, I overcome it. And I was really having the time of my life speaking to these people. Enjoying myself in fact.
I suppose, Mr Oon is right. Those words above (in italic) are his by the way. Because before presentation today, he told us to just release ourself. And I guess, I really followed that. He told me to adopt two personas. However, must make sure that they're as natural as possible. From sweet-cheeky to scandalous-cheeky... Hehehe. It's embarassing now that I remembered it. But I hope I did pull it off. How bad can being scandalous be eyh?
