Selamat Pagi!I am so EXHAUSTED now! And so sleepy. After the morning jog with adik and Mak Mah at PRP. Ohmygosh, the view there is just spectacular. Especially at sunrise. Breathtaking. Didn't sleep after subuh prayers today (that explains why i'm so sleepy now) unlike my usual routine of sleeping in. So, we went to PRP, brisk walking, imitating the tai chi people (oh wells, at least me and mak mah did. hehe.) and went mudskipper spotting. Which is cool.
Tapi, at last no mudskippers or anything. Just crab. And they're cute and big and camouflage-y. Haha. Oh, and we also spotted jellyfish at the common fishing spots. Which is really thrilling. The size is the same like those you see in Spongebob except that its not pink but pale white. Pretty.
Haha. And this 2 kepo uncles were trying to explain to the 3 of us about otters which he claimed we could spot if we're here often and if we're lucky. Oh wow, i mean otters? Aren't they like beaver or something? So, you must be wondering how those 2 uncles enter frame and started talking about otters. So here it goes.
Me: Eyh, air dier macam kotor ekhs adik ngan cik mah? (pointed to the water)
Cik Mah: Yeah. Memang kotor pun. Diorang macam simbah minyak ke aper jadi takder nyamuk.
Me: Ahah. Memang.
Uncle (1): Did you all said sotong? (I think he heard 'kotor' as 'sotong')
Me: Huh? Umm..
Uncle (2): That's not sotong. Its jellyfish.
Me: Huh? Where?
Aleem: Tu uhh. See, the white one... (points at the jellyfish.)
Me & Cik Mah: Oh.. Tak sangka. Ada jellyfish.
Uncle (1): You see uh, if you stay here long enough, you might see otters. You know what they are?
Me & Aleem: Yeah. Think so.
Uncle (2): They swim very fast you know..
Cik Mah: Interesting2. I see. (Laughs)
Afterwords, we walked off to the direction of Downtown East.
Cik Mah: Otter, otter. Otter tu apa benda ekhs?
Me: Lahh, tadi angguk2 ngan cakap interesting macam paham jerhs
Adik: Otter tu binatang. Haha. Laju. Cepat. Bukan dugong taw. Colour brown.
Me: Ah2. Yang kawan baik dier beaver.
Cik Mah: Eh, beaver apa pula?
Adik: Beaver tu kawan otter. (DUH!!)
Me: Mesti uhh. Alah beaver yang gigi dier 'ngongos' tuu.. (points to teeth)
Adik: jongos lerhhs kak...
Its so hilarious. I started laughing. Sampai dah penat seyh sekarang. Hahah. I want to catch a snooze later. But, mum's homemade nasi lemak is tickling my tastebuds now. Sedaaaaap. (:
